Cypress Industries is a vertically integrated contract manufacturer specializing in custom cable assemblies, custom wire harnesses, plastic injection mold making, custom plastic injection molding as well as metal castings. Our vertical integration provides us a unique perspective into many different manufacturing techniques which enhances our core competence of assisting customers with design for manufacturability and value engineering.
Cypress Industries core competence is custom cable assemblies. The company started manufacturing custom cable assemblies over ten years ago and has rapidly grown to become one of the worldwide leaders in manufacturing of custom cable assemblies and custom wire harnesses. Because of our excellent customer service with custom cable assemblies, customers have asked us to expand our product offering and we have listened. Since that time we have complemented our custom cable assemblies business by adding plastic injection mold making, plastic injection molding, investment casting, die casting and machining.
With manufacturing facilities in Dongguan, China and Austin, Texas Cypress Industries is able to offer flexibility in its supply chain for quick-turn or low cost manufacturing. Our domestic manufacturing capabilities mirror our China manufacturing capabilities for most of our product lines including custom cable assemblies. We are able to manufacture electronic products including custom cable assemblies, custom wire harnesses as well as electromechanical box builds at both facilities. We also specialize in plastic injection mold making, mold design and manufacture many types plastic injection molding tools and parts at our China and US manufacturing facilities.
Some other product lines include connectors such as DVI, HDMI, Firewire and USB Connectors. We provide front-end product design services, value engineering and design for manufacturability (DFM) as well as back-end support including advanced fulfillment, warehousing and 3rd party inspection and verification services.
Cypress Industries has custom cable assemblies, plastic injection mold making, tooling and custom plastic injection molding capabilities at our U.S. and China factories. In China we also manufacture metal castings, investment castings, die castings, aluminum extrusions, metal injection molding and CNC machining at our China factories as well.
