Account Executive: Remote

Job Location: United States

Inside Sales, Customer Support

Job Location: Austin, Texas

Job Description: Grow and maintain key accounts in conjunction with strategic account manager. Ensure Cypress Industries is professionally and responsibly represented in the industry and that our organization meets the expected level of service, responsiveness and quality objectives of the customer. Perform critical program and customer support in order to achieve customer satisfaction.

More specific duties will include:

  • Assist account managers in setting sales objectives and forecasts and strive to meet them.
  • Under the leadership of Sales and/or Account Manager, establish professional and responsive relationships with customers to ensure total customer satisfaction while meeting all business profitability objectives.
  • Manage orders, programs and projects for the assigned accounts.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure company is meeting or exceeding the service level.
  • Able and willing to quickly identify issues and drive them to resolutions.
  • Able to manage large quote packages and make responsible decisions.
  • Act as a liaison between customer and internal cross functions to ensure all customer expectations are communicated, understood and met throughout the organization in a timely manner.
  • Add a high level of technical product service and value to meet the goals of the organization.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership.

Customer Service Representative

Job Location: Austin, Texas

Job Description: Individual will be responsible for maintaining client relations with TX area companies, and assisting outside sales representatives. This position will require detailed reporting and updating of client orders and part numbers. Seeking person with some technical background, to include, but not limited to, manufacturing, metal casting, simple production, and manufacturing.

Essential Functions (responsibilities):

  • Detailed record keeping and reporting
  • Strong ability to interact with people and maintain relationships
  • Some knowledge of technical/manufacturing industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Motivated team player

Compensation & Benefits: Initial trial period of 90 days with base salary, after that employee will be eligible for annual bonuses. Includes standard medical and vacation plans.

Sales Representative


Job Location: Austin, Dallas & Houston Texas

Job Description: Cypress Industries is looking for the right individual to expand and support the needs of a diversified customer base including OEMs, contract manufacturers, telecom companies, industrial machinery companies, P.O.S. companies, gaming equipment companies as well as medical and military manufacturers. The Regional Sales Manager will assess customers needs and uses his/her advanced knowledge of Cypress products and services to meet those needs. The right candidate will have the ability to maintain contact of multiple customers to ensure their needs are served within the context of Company goals. Ideally the candidate will have experience working with contract manufacturers, good technical background, project management skills, and 5 plus years of direct sales experience. More specific duties will include:

  • Develop and implement business strategies and plans to secure new and existing business for strategic market growth, includes gaining entrance into new markets and customers.
  • Develop a territory/market annual sales plan.
  • Ensure Cypress is professionally represented in the industry and that Cypress meets the expected level of service, responsiveness and quality objectives of the customer. 
  • Utilize strong sales skills of engaging the prospect, asking key questions, and listening for opportunities.
  • Summarize needs, solutions, and values for the customer
  • Work collaboratively with the Internal Customer Service team in Austin to assist in the preparation of the quotation/bid package.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery within Company guidelines in order to maximize sales volume and margins.
  • Secure P.O./contract.
  • Follows up with Customer for periodic review of Cypress service levels.
  • Achieves the established sales growth objectives for the territory.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership. 

Location: We are looking to expand our business in the Houston and Dallas area. We are flexible with respect to home base of the candidates, but in order to have success in our industry, we expect close to a 50-50 split of physical time between our facility in Austin (working with your Cypress Team members) and either the Dallas or the Houston area.
