Quality Assurance Manager |
 |

| Job Requirements |
| Education / Training: Quality Assurance Manager should have a four year technical degree. Additional coursework in management, problem solving and statistical quality control or process control and ISO standards and certification preferred. |

| Experience: Five to 10 years in a quality department of a manufacturing organization with some experience managing technical personnel doing complex activities. Knowledge of plastic injection molding, tooling, and machining, electronic assembly and test equipment preferred. International manufacturing experience preferred. |
 |
| Job Duties: |
 |
- Administer the company’s quality program in accordance with customer and company requirements.
- Maintain quality system for ISO certification to include defining and developing procedures, business processes and work instructions.
- Ensure employees are trained for ISO: procedures, work instructions and forms.
Ensure all work instructions, forms and procedures are being followed and used properly.
Asian & US Supplier Management and Audits Communication of quality problems with Asian supplier base.
- Facilitate internal ISO Audits.
- All document control as it relates to the quality system.
- Responsible for all quality programs to ensure all products produced and shipped meet in-house and customer quality standards.
- Develop, implement and manage all quality programs to ensure that continuous process and quality improvement is achieved.
- Responsible for leading cross-functional teams for root cause analysis and driving process corrective/preventive actions.
- Report on progress of quality objectives
- Ensure system is in place for manufacturing to be supported with current quality records and calibrated equipment.
- Develop and implement processes and documentation to track and reduce internal rejects/scrap.
- Develop customer quality plans (FAI data, capability study data, process control plan). All mechanical FA’s.
- Early-on involvement in projects to ensure requirements are communicated.
- Plastic Injection Molding Tooling design reviews and documentation.
- Tooling Contracts.
- Hire, train, evaluate and plan performance for all quality department personnel.

This position will require travel in the region and occasional travel to Austin. Detailed reporting and updating or CRM system will be required. Person will report directly to the Sales Manager, and will be provided inside assistance. Seeking self-motivated person with a technical background, to include, but not limited to, manufacturing of cable assemblies, injection molding, metal casting and tooling. |
