Regional Outside Sales Representative |
|
| Job Region: California / Dallas, Texas / East Coast / Chicago |
|
| Job Description: Individual will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining client relations with regional OEM's and manufacturing companies. This position will require travel in the region and occasional travel to Austin. Detailed reporting and updating or CRM system will be required. Person will report directly to the Sales Manager, and will be provided inside assistance. Seeking self-motivated person with a technical background, to include, but not limited to, manufacturing of cable assemblies, injection molding, metal casting and tooling. |

| Essential Functions (responsibilities): |

- Weekly appointments and visits
- Detailed record keeping and reporting
- Strong ability to interact with
people and maintain relationships
- Good knowledge of technical/manufacturing
industry in regional area
- Ability to manage multiple projects
with minimum direction

| Qualifications: College Degree preferred. Former outside sales experience required. Must live in job regions above and have the ability to travel. |

| Compensation & Benefits: Initial contract trial period of 90 days with base salary. Full time employment includes standard medical and vacation plans. Full commission will be paid on any new accounts; reduced commission will be paid on possible existing accounts. |

- Inspect Drawings for Accuracy/Manufacturability
- Ability to read and understand assembly BOM's
- Ability to identify tooling needs when related to manufacturing
- Organization and Prioritization skills are important
- Verify FA drawings and FA samples from vendors as requested by QC department

| Experience Requirements: |
|
- Minimum 1-2 years of technical experience required
- Cable experience required.
- Intermediate level user of Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Education Requirements
- Bachelor or Associate degree preferred

- Ability to read and understand assembly BOM's
- Ability to identify tooling needs when related to manufacturing
- Organization and Prioritization skills are important
- Verify FA drawings and FA samples from vendors as requested by QC department
- Align a production team to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Drive productivity to meet and exceed expectations
- Coach/counsel and train line employees

| Education and Experience Requirements |
|
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of technical and computer experience required
- Cable experience required
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred
|
