Cypress Industries has assembled an amazing team in China. Technically skilled operators and ready availability of common wires, connectors, pins and other materials make it possible for us to quickly and precisely assemble large numbers of wiring harnesses in China, then ship them directly to manufacturers anywhere in the world. Our facility in China is ISO/TS 16949 certified.

Overmolded cable and connector assemblies are especially suited to our plant in China, as custom tools, dies and applicators can be tooled in about ten days and used on site, or shipped to our facilities in the U.S. or India - whatever best suits the project.

Our expert engineers build extremely high quality wire harnesses, but they are just as focused on developing the right manufacturing processes. We examine the full function of a wire harness - how and where it will be used, how long it will be in operation, the stresses it will endure in its lifetime - and develop a complete manufacturing methodology to address these factors, choosing from a full menu of materials and techniques.

Our advanced operations and our highly technical staff allow us to develop our own tools, dies and applicators, and employ the widest variety of plastic, glass-impregnated, metal and synthetic materials. We then design the best possible processes, documenting each step and choosing just the right technician for each aspect of production. We balance speed with precision to manufacture each piece according to stringent protocols, and incorporate automation whenever possible, including stripping, crimping, overmolding and potting. As each wire harness is completed, our team inspects and tests it, guaranteeing first-item quality regardless of volume.

Each time a customer repeats an order, with or without modifications, we return to the complete documentation of the previous run, reviewing each step of the process to ensure repeatability. Customer feedback is encouraged: we work to build the right product the first time, and each time thereafter.
