Cypress Industries Sells India Wire Harness Operation to Celestix

Cypress Industries (www.cypressindustries.com) today announced the sale of Cypress Industries India, its Ahmedabad-based wire harness subsidiary, to General Manager Hasit Ruparel. Hasit has led the operation since 2010 and acquired the business through Celestix as part of a roll-up of local and international manufacturing interests. Effective immediately, Cypress Industries India and Cypress Industries (USA/Mexico) are no longer legally affiliated.

Over 14 years, Hasit built Cypress Industries India into a high-quality, on-time-delivery operation with a loyal customer base. U.S. tariffs, however, made it increasingly difficult to compete in the American market—historically the business's primary export focus. As an independent owner, Hasit is now free to pursue the domestic India market and international customers outside the U.S., markets where India's world-class wire harness manufacturing capabilities—skilled workforce, strong quality, and competitive costs—are a distinct advantage.

For Cypress Industries, the divestiture sharpens focus on its core USA/Mexico operations, where the company is accelerating growth in sheet metal fabrication and electronics manufacturing. Demand is strong across multiple markets, particularly data centers—where AI and cloud infrastructure investment is driving sustained need for precision enclosures and electronic assemblies—and from companies reshoring production from Asia to North America. Cypress Industries' Mexico facility is well-positioned to serve this demand with near-shore quality, cost efficiency, and supply chain reliability.
